poor VFX companies like Rhythm and Hues. Companies that produce such amazing work should not be facing hardship like this. Don't know what I'm talking about? Here, check this out.

VFX(aka Visual Effects) are in charge of the great computer generated stuff in movies, shows, some advertisements and modern video games. And stuff can be just about anything- buildings, cars, animals, backdrops... younger evil Jeff Bridges' face. Yeah anything goes in VFX world. Sometimes the work is so good you can't even tell if it's real or not. But here's a quick overview of how essential they are in film today.

They made a dang tiger out of a stress pillow. Are you serious?!

Movie "magic" comes to mind, no?

Watching the Oscars and seeing LoP get many awards felt weird. Not to say that the film doesn't deserve its awards, but it continued to beg the question, "How can such a successful project result in the end of one of its studios?".  Stuff like this hasn't happened to only this studio either. I don't know too much about the VFX industry but have many friends who are a part of it and I hope for the best. The entertainment industry is known for surviving during economic downfalls and VFX is a BIG part of the industry.
